Our Process Technology program for 2020-21 is under construction and will be designed for dedicated students who enjoy working with computers, hands-on activities, and solving problems. This pathway at BJCC will be an introduction to the industry. We are expecting that students in the pathway will learn valuable problem-solving skills, visit the learning labs at Houston Community College, hear from industry professionals, and take a field trip to a worksite operated by one of our business partners. Moreover, we are designing this program so students will have the opportunity to earn an OSHA 30 hour certificate as well as 6 hours of dual-credit through Houston Community College in their Process Technlogy Program during their senior year. Students in this pathway should have strong math/science skills and be interested in learning communication in a professional setting. Students will be encouraged to continue the program at HCC to become fully job-ready. We are expecting our program to be in place by the fall of 2020. Interested students should apply via our application on the BJCC website homepage.
