Architecture (AutoCAD)

  • Program Description:

The architecture program equips students with the skills and knowledge to decide if architecture is right for them.  In the first year of the program, students develop a strong foundation in fundamental design principles, spatial planning, and conceptual thinking. Building upon this foundation, the second year of the program introduces students to Architectural Design II, a more advanced course that delves deeper into design theory, sustainability, and the integration of technology in architectural practice. Through a combination of hands-on studio work, theoretical studies, and practical experience, students in this program gain the expertise needed to create innovative, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing architectural designs.  Students will learn the basics of drafting using the popular AutoCAD software.

    Courses:

11th grade - Principles of Architecture (Fall sem), Architectural Design I (Spring sem)

12th grade - Architectural Design II
