JS101 is an organization providing online job search classes designed to improve the job search process for those in need - the unemployed who need assistance, direction, and professional guidance in their search for employment. There are no charges or fees for the recipients for the training provided.

Vocational Rehabilitation Services
Texas Workforce Solutions-Vocational Rehabilitation Services supports people with disabilities to prepare for, obtain, maintain and advance in meaningful employment by providing a range of services based on an individual’s employment goals. Our Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) counselors work closely with job seekers to determine an employment goal, and then identify and arrange for the high-quality services that lead to successful employment.

Community Kitchen
Classes Starting Soon
Community Kitchen at the Houston Food Bank is a 10 -week job training program for adults 18 and over. The program provides 4 job training components: culinary fundamentals, SERVSafe certification, job readiness and life and career coaching.
Students will learn in a variety of different ways; through practicing daily cooking skills in a working kitchen to learning classic culinary technique and terminology in a classroom. A student advisor will work daily with the students and offer coaching, resume writing workshops, mock interviews and help with job search.
