Claudia Florez is the principal of Jefferson Elementary School. She has 17 years of experience, having served as an Assistant Principal and a bilingual teacher. Her previous work experience includes serving as an Assistant Principal at J.P. Henderson, where she assisted in leading the campus to meet 5 TEA campus distinctions and a rating of an ‘A’ for the 2021-2022 school year. Mrs. Florez earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas- Brownsville and a Master’s in Educational Administration from Lamar University.
