Mrs. Claudia Florez is a native Houstonian and a product of HISD. Mrs. Florez realized she wanted to be an educator since she was a student in elementary school. She graduated from University of Texas-Brownsville with a bachelor's degree and from Lamar University with a Master's in Educational Administration. She served as an Assistant Principal at J.P. Henderson Elementary. Mrs. Florez has a passion for serving her community and for being an example to all her students that anything is possible no matter what their circumstances may be.
