Hi everyone!

My name is Miss Botwe and I am a PreKindergarten teacher here at Stevens Elementary. This will be my third year teaching and I am absolutely ecstatic. I’ve been working with children for the past ten years in child care centers and after school programs. 

I’m passionate about social studies and exploring new cultures. I studied at the University of Houston where I got my degree in Political Science. I’m also very creative and love working with my hands, whether it’s drawing, painting, or sewing I love it all. I’m very big on giving my students a chance to speak through their creativity, I believe it’s one of the best ways we can see their perspective on the world.   

I was born in South Carolina, but I was raised in Houston and have been living here since I was 5 years old. I have a younger brother named Jeramy. My favorite color is purple. I love being silly and making others laugh.
