Principal Kristina Davis-Troutman
Kristina Troutman has served as an educator for 34 years. She has been a bilingual teacher, Title I Coordinator, Gifted and Talented Coordinator, Bilingual Interventionist, Assistant Principal and Principal. She has taught Kindergarten, first grade, third grade, fourth grade, fifth grade and Spanish at the middle school level.
Kristina was born in Michigan and grew up in a large family that placed an emphasis on the importance of education. She knew from a young age she wanted to be an educator.
As a school leader, Ms. Troutman focuses on the importance of the social and emotional development of all children and how it impacts their academic learning. She firmly believes that it is imperative to build a School Family, with caring relationships. The caring relationships create the optimal learning environment for all students and adults.
Ms. Troutman is married to educator, Dr. James Troutman. She and her husband are the proud parents of two children age 14 and age 12. As a family, they spend time traveling, visiting museums, attending musical events and plays, having fun at the park and reading.
