A warm welcome from the Sharpstown International Studies School Parent Teacher Organization (SIS PTO). Sharpstown International Studies School (SIS) is an amazing school filled with talented, dedicated teachers, enthusiastic students and welcoming parents.  Our PTO is a volunteer organization that helps support our school by enhancing the quality of education on our campus and making sure we help make opportunities a reality for our students.

Some of our goals include:

     *Coordinating volunteer participation to support school programs

     *Hosting activities that encourage family involvement like our Fall Festival and Field Day       

     *Fundraising efforts to help enhance and enrich the education of our students.

By joining SIS PTO, you are showing your support of this valuable organization and helping support teachers, students and staff in many ways.  SIS PTO provides support for bus transportation that has allowed our Model United Nations students to travel to competitions in Austin, San Antonio and Washington D.C. SIS PTO shows our teachers and staff how much they are appreciated through hosting “Teacher Appreciation Luncheons” and our PTO is in the process of supporting the creation of an “International Mural” wall  to enhance our main building.  These are just a few of the things our PTO funds help support.

As an SIS PTO member, your involvement is important and will contribute greatly to your child’s success.  We are excited that your child will be a part of this school and look forward to getting to know your family.  Whether you choose to lead a committee, assist in the classroom or volunteer at a specific event, your help is invaluable and greatly appreciated.
