With a wealth of experience spanning 12 years in the field of education, Mr. Buren brings a dedicated passion for serving our community, having tirelessly contributed for 10 years prior to his current appointment. His time at Frank Black Middle School reflects his diverse roles, from teacher to department chair, Best Practices Specialist to Teacher Specialist, and Assistant Principal. Before joining us here at Durham, Mr. Buren served as the Resident Principal this year at Waltrip High School, showcasing his commitment to fostering excellence in education at various levels. As we embark on this new chapter under his leadership, we anticipate continued growth and success for our school community.
