    Meet the Teacher

A long standing ROE tradition is approaching. Meet the Teacher Night will take place on Thursday, August 24th.

    • Front doors open at 4:50 p.m. and classroom presentations start promptly at 5:00 p.m.
    • Classroom assignments will be posted on charts throughout the school. All families should enter through the main entrance of the school (Kirby Drive). Please bring your child, visit their classroom and meet your child's teacher.
    • Car tags will be issued at Meet the Teacher Night for families who use our carpool line.

We ask that each family bring one roll of paper towels, one box of tissues, one container of Clorox or Lysol wipes and hand sanitizer. If each family pitches in, we will have enough supplies for the entire year. Please bring these items to Meet the Teacher Night rather than the first day of school so our teachers can focus on their students on the first day of school.

    Bus Services

Magnet Bus Service: All Magnet families should have received notification via phone from HISD Transportation last week. If you have not received this call, please contact ROE's Magnet Clerk, Itzel Media at imedina2@houstonisd.org.

Special Education Bus Service: If your child received bus service as part of their IEP and you have not yet received routing information from the district, please email, ROE's Special Education Chair, Ariana Alvear at ariana.alvear@houstonisd.org.

    ROE Family Handbook

If you haven't already read ROE's Family Handbook, you may access it here. Please make sure to read it thoroughly. Information and satelite pictures regarding arrival and dismissal procedures are included.
