Student Login through the HUB

Students can access age-appropriate, HISD approved, online resources through the HUB by using the instructions below.  Student accounts remain active until they depart HISD, and they are available 24/7 year-round. 

• Log on towww.houstonisd.org/HUB using your HISD login and password.
• Click on the “Digital Resources” tab at the top of the page.
• Click on the HPL Learning Link logo.
• Enter your user name and pin in the following format:
• USER NAME: First initial of last name(capitalized)+ student ID number (e.g., Jane Smith ID#123456 will be entered S123456)
• NEW! PIN: MMDD (date of birth)  (e.g., 1201)

HISD Pre-Approved Digital Platforms for Elementary Students

Access the following digital platforms by going to the Houston Public Library’s website. Select Research and on the left side of the screen select Alphabetical List.  Use the alphabetical list to find these digital platforms.
