Principal Martinez

Welcome to Coop!

  • I am honored to write to you as the principal of Coop Elementary.  I thank teachers, staff, and this community for their warm welcome.  I commit to continue the great work that the teachers, staff, and administrators have done to make this campus great, and to have and open-door policy for my staff and parents.

I have served as an educator for 18 years.  Recently, I had the honor to serve as the Dean of Instruction for Marshall Academy where I supported ESL instruction, coached teachers, and fostered a safe learning environment for all students.   Earlier in my career I taught at Brookline Elementary as a fourth and fifth grade teacher.  I have always believed that scholars have the potential to achieve whatever they can dream.  That is why I always tell students to Dream Big.

It is my goal to work collaboratively with teachers and parents to provide our scholars with the best education possible.  We believe in giving our scholars opportunities to grow every year as they are challenged and care for.  Thank you for your support as we work together to create well-rounded life-long learners ready to compete in the 21st century.

    Respectfully,

    Luis Sabillon
