School Choice Lottery Notification Day- Thursday, March 20, 2025

Deadline to accept seat offered in Phase One- Thursday, April 3, 2025
Deadline to accept seat offered in Phase Two- 5 Calendar Days from offer date
Phase Two Application Closes- One week before school opens

GT TESTING
Gifted and Talented Testing
If your student is currently in grades K-12 or will be entering Kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year and you are interested in applying to our Vanguard Magnet program, which requires gifted and talented testing for admissions, or if you simply want to request testing for your child, you may do so now! Please click the link below to complete an online testing request form. You MUST request testing for your child no later than Monday, September 16, 2024. Note: Parents of second grade students in HISD or students who have previously been identified as gifted and talented in both math and reading do not need to request additional testing.
*Please note that any students applying for any Magnet Vanguard school MUST request testing no later than Monday, September 16, 2024.
