Introducing HISD TRACS

Talent Recruiting and Compensation System

Dear Applicant:

Thank you so much for your interest in Houston ISD.  The District is moving to a new recruiting and hiring system, one that will enhance the applicant's experience.  The new system, HISD TRACS, will be live Monday, January 30, 2023.  

We welcome you to apply and upload your resume via the new system.  However, if you do not have a resume, you’re welcome to use the resume builder, within the system.  The link to HISD TRACS is:  apply.houstonisd.org.  This link will not be available for use prior to January 30, 2023.

When applying, please know that once you have completed the application questions and have uploaded or built your resume in the system, you will receive an email at the email address you used when creating your credentials.  The email will contain a link that takes you to the final application step, which is to enter your SSN.  This will complete the application process.
