    STUDENT CONDUCT

All students are expected to act responsibly and work cooperatively with others in order to maintain a positive learning environment. Standards are outlined as follows:

    ED WHITE CODE OF CONDUCT

"I will follow in the footsteps of Ed White by modeling respect, kindness, and responsibility."

ED WHITE ELEMENTARY GENERAL SCHOOL RULES

I will not hurt others with my hands, feet, or words.
I will complete all classwork and homework.
I will follow directions, and follow them the first time they are given.
When an adult corrects my behavior, I will not argue.
I will do my part to keep our school neat and attractive.

Additionally, students are issued copies of the Code of Conduct from HISD. This document describes disciplinary offenses and their consequences. Behavior that disrupts instruction or poses safety hazards will not be tolerated. Likewise, the administration will not tolerate behavior such as students who threaten others, encourage, watch, or participate in fights. Parents are expected to accompany their children to evening programs and take responsibility for their children's behavior/conduct at these events.
