I love teaching Kindergarten! This is my seventh year teaching at Parker. I have a Bachelors degree in music education from Sam Houston State and a Masters in reading from the University of Houston. I started my teaching career in Rosenberg, Texas where I taught music and then Kindergarten.
When I had my daughter I stayed home with both my children for sixteen years. Both my children went to Parker and were violinists. I was on the PTO and volunteered in my children’s classrooms. I always loved the administrators and teachers at Parker. I was very happy when a Kindergarten teaching spot became available.
I live very close to the school with my husband and two children. My daughter is 22 and attends Texas Women’s University in Denton, Texas. She is working on her graduate degree in Occupational Therapy. She still plays the violin and even has an electric one. My son is a junior at Bellaire High School. He is involved in the FFA program and is raising a steer and a pig. I love to read, shop, and go to the beach.
