I am originally from California, but grew up in Arkansas. I went to college at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, majoring in Sociology/Youth and Human Services.
I have been teaching for five years, with the last three being here at Parker. Parker is truly an amazing place. I am truly blessed to be a part of this family. I enjoy teaching for many reasons. There is nothing better than seeing a light come on in a child and seeing him or her grow. As one might guess that with working with kids, there are never two days that are the same. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, traveling and running. I have an insane goal of running a marathon in each of the fifty states. So far I have completed 9 states. That's only 41 more to go.
