The Health Science Pathway at Furr High School prepares students to test their senior year for a Certified Nursing Assistant certification. Students get hands on experience with the basics in a health science career and access to free test prep, free certification examination, and internship opportunities. If students pass their TSI exam fall of 10th grade year they can begin taking HCC courses at no cost at Furr starting summer of 10th grade in addition to this pathway. Students must select this pathway with their counselor starting in 9th grade.
