Nutrition Services Production Scheduler Lydia Rivera is
HISD’s Employee of the Month for September.
“Lydia is so bright,” said Nutrition Services Officer Betti Wiggins. “She started working as a sub, and now she is just a spark plug that keeps our production facility humming along.”
Lydia started her career with HISD in 2001 as a substitute for Nutrition Services and is now the production scheduler at the facility.
“Of the 2,000 people that I have here, she is a shining stars,” Wiggins added.
“I am so proud to work for HISD Nutrition Services,” Rivera said. “I love my job, and I am happy from the moment I walk in the door.”
