I hope and pray that each of you are safe and enjoying a great Summer. HISD has announced our reopening plan to ensure a high-quality education for all students during the upcoming 2020-2021 school year.
I understand you may have questions about how the plan for 2020-2021 will impact your child, and I am always happy to answer any questions you may have. This is a challenge we are up for and with the best teachers, families and students in HISD, I know that this will be an amazing school year for your Dragon. Below is a highlight of some of the key points regarding the reopening of schools for the 2020-2021 school year.
Here is a timeline for the re-opening dates:
Starting on August 24, parents will receive a phone call from the district, asking them to indicate their choice for the 2020-2021 school year. Parents will be asked to select one of the following options:
After each six-week grading period, parents may change their selection.

An appointment is not required to drop off completed forms in the registration drop off box. Drop off completed forms between 8:30 and 11:30 on registrations days on the school calendar. Ring the bell to notify the front office of the drop off.
