As a third generation educator, I lovingly refer to my decision to become a teacher as “going into the family business.” Before I became a teacher, I worked in various communication roles in New York City. I am thankful that I can use my experience in the business world to ensure our children have authentic experiences in the classroom. I am so delighted to be a teacher at the School at St. George Place. I strongly believe that the IB curriculum teaches children to think critically and focus on making big picture connections rather than only focusing on the details. I love teaching fifth grade and helping students discover their passions and develop both their independence and sense of responsibility. When I’m not teaching, I like to cook, run, and play fantasy football with my family.
"I believe all kids can learn, realize their potential, and cultivate critical thinking skills. Each child deserves mentoring in order to further develop their social skills and executive functions. All children deserve to have support to grow as individuals, not just as students. I am honored to be a part of that journey in the classroom."
