The FLOs are external programs that take place outside of school around Houston, the state of Texas, or the country. FLO Providers include non-profit organizations, companies, professional institutions, associations, or colleges and universities,
     
    DiscoverU's FLOs also focus on college and career preparation and include an application process. Examples of FLO programs include:
    • The Woods Project Summer Program
    • Youth about Business Camp
    • Chef Camp
    • Fashion Camp
    • Criminal Justice Camp at Sam Houston State University
    • Sea Camp at Texas A&M University-Galveston
