My name is Anila Khan. I have been teaching at St. George Place since 2016. I graduated with a degree in Teaching and Learning from the University of Houston. Before moving to the US, I also completed my undergrad and earned a degree in Psychology, with a minor in Journalism, from Government Kinnaird College for Women in Pakistan. I taught elementary school for a year in Pakistan. Teaching has always been my passion. My teaching philosophy is to educate the whole child, which includes academic, as well as emotional, cognitive, psychological, physical, and social growth. I believe that all students have some extraordinary strengths, which is the first step toward the making of a successful human being. Keeping this belief in mind, I am very excited to mentor my students to discover their talents, support them to enhance their abilities, and guide them to contribute back to their community and beyond.
