Hi everyone! I am so excited to continue my time at SGP in 5th grade, and I am looking forward to a wonder- full school year. This will be my 23rd year as a public elementary school teacher, and I am grateful for the opportunity to teach children how to become lifelong readers and learners. I was blessed with a national Teacher of the Year award from NCMEC in 2006, and a campus Teacher of the Year award during the 2020-2021 COVID school year. I am also a Dog Dad to a 10 year old female Corgi mix named Bailey. Once again, I am eager to share my passion for reading, writing and social studies with my new group of students this year!
