Waltrip High School is proud to partner with the National Math +Science Initiative (NMSI) to help provide our students with the greatest potential to be successful on College Board’s Advanced Placement exams.

Each year Waltrip is host to nine different study sessions designed to provide additional support to students taking Advanced Placement (AP) course in math, science and English.  The program offers three weekends of target support in each of the content areas.

Student Study Sessions provide instruction on topics that most frequently appear on the AP exams.  Additionally, students receive valuable tips on taking the exam.

Waltrip students enrolled in AP classes who attend two study sessions for a course and achieve a 3 or higher on their AP exams will receive a $100 award from NMSI.
