    Enrollment and Withdrawal Update - April 20th, 2020

    Due to Covid-19, the enrollment and withdrawal process for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year has been shifted to the district’s central office and you will have to provide all of the required documentation via email to FSC@houstonisd.org



    Required Parent/Guardian Documentation:

    1. Parent/Guardian Name
    2. Home Address
    3. Email Address
    4. Phone Number
    5. Proof of Residence (Utility Bill)
    6. Parent Verification (Copy of Driver’s license, State Id or Passport)

    Student Required Information

    1. Birth Certificate (Proof of Age)
    2. Student’s Name
    3. Date of Birth
    4. Home Address
    5. Phone Number
    6. Current Grade Level
    7. Campus and District Student Last Attended
    8. Has student ever attended a Houston ISD school? If so, what campus did the student last attend?

    These documents can be forwarded as an attachment, by parents taking pictures with their smart phone and emailing to the FSC email address mentioned above.

    Upon completion of enrollment, the FSC Department will email Campus Personnel for the student to receive a schedule.



    Parents are to submit a request for a student withdrawal. Upon notice, the FSC office will work directly with you to complete the withdrawal process. Once the withdrawal has been completed, the FSC office will contact the school to notify that the student has withdrawn.


    All documentation must be signed and dated by an authorized representative of the district and by one of the following:

    • Parent
    • Guardian
    • Responsible adult as recorded in school records, such as a foster parent or a probation officer
    • Qualified student. A qualified student is one who, at the time he/she stops attending school:
    1.  is married, or
    2.  is 18 years or older, or
    3.  has established a residence separate and apart from the student’s parent, guardian, or other person  having lawful control of the student.
