My name is Kia Griffin. I am a native of New Orleans and will be teaching 5th Grade Math this year at Memorial. I am a graduate of Southern University A&M in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I am currently working on my master’s degree in Business Administration at Grand Canyon University. My professional background has been developed on helping children and families in need across entities from juvenile detention to supportive services for children with intellectual disorders. I am a mom of 2 sons, and I enjoy traveling with them. Our favorite thing to do is cruise. I love seafood and Mardi Gras is my favorite holiday. I have a deep passion for supporting children and families in need and look forward to making a positive impact through Wraparound Services at Memorial Elementary.
