Hola! My name is Karina Garcia and I’m a Dual Language Pre-K Teacher at Memorial Elementary. I’m excited to be part of this community. I’m a native Texan and a product of HISD. I’ve had the pleasure of teaching for 19 years in early childhood as a Pre-K and Kindergarten Teacher in Dual Language, ESL and Bilingual setting. My true passion is in early childhood as it sets children with a strong foundation for their future success. This is where the love of learning begins through interdisciplinary skill sets. When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy discovering new experiences, whether it’s through travel, food and conversations. Every day is a new learning experience. My motto is to enjoy the journey and always make it magical.
