Hello Memorial family, I am Mr. Purdon! I am extremely excited about starting my second full year of teaching at our wonderful school with the students. As many of you know, I am a second year teacher. I originally came from Northeast Texas before moving to Houston in 2015. Before arriving here, I attended Southern Arkansas University where I received a B.Sc. in Biology with an emphasis on wildlife and marine science. I was brought to Houston to accept a position where, between 2015 and 2022, I served as an operations/development manager for a pharmaceutical company. Last fall I had the opportunity to pursue a career in education and the rest is history in progress.
