My name is Maria Bertel. I am from Colombia, received a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering and certified to teach Early Childhood. This will be my 6th year at School at Saint George place and my first year teaching Kindergarten. While working as Media Center specialist for the last 3 years, I realized I have a true passion for teaching and working with children. I really enjoyed watching them shape and grow. Kindergarten will give me the opportunity to instill a love and enthusiasm for learning with activities that will engage them and make learning really fun. I enjoy listening to music, relaxing at the beach, traveling and spending time with my husband and my son. I look forward to working with you and your children.
