Dr. Debra Wright Hudson is a native of Polk County, Florida, where she used research and her experiences to develop instructional systems that increase and sustained the academic performance of students. She has served as an educator for over 15 years and is dedicated to the success of schools that have experienced academic challenges. In the midst of the pandemic, she implemented innovative pedagogical and student-centered that positively impacted the achievement gap. As an instructional leader, Dr. Hudson, has established and implemented professional learning and common planning communities that have resulted in an increase in student learning and staff retention. She leads by example and by authentically connecting with staff, students, parents, and the community.  Dr. Hudson has fostered business partnerships that resulted in the development of countless financial donations, student employment opportunities and campus facilities enhancements. She is a servant leader committed to sustaining systems that support academic excellence.
