Hello! My name is Kat Pittman.  I am so excited to join the Parker family this year!  I call Bozeman, Montana home but spent the last ten years in Seattle before moving to Houston in 2013.  I have a degree in Humanities for Teaching from Seattle University (Go Seahawks!) I come to Parker with 6 years of experience teaching 2nd grade and PreK. My husband, Dale, is from Alaska and we have three boys--Kannon (5), Clark (4), and Quinn (newborn).  My older boys will both be attending Parker this year and we couldn't be more thrilled. My favorite children's book is The Lorax and Island of the Blue Dolphins. When I am not at school, I can be found snuggling with my kids, drinking coffee, and writing. I look forward to teaching this year and hope to inspire a love of reading and writing in 2nd graders!
