Hello! My name is Anthi Benge and I have had the pleasure of teaching at Raul C. Martinez Elementary for over 25 years. I began my career here in 1995 as a student teacher and absolutely fell in love with the faculty, staff, and mostly the students. I decided then and there to call Martinez Elementary School my home away from home. 

Throughout the years I have taught several grade levels. The years I adored the most were the five years I've spent in the science lab. There is no greater reward than the look on a child’s face when they make a scientific discovery. But I have to admit, 5th grade is pretty amazing.

I attended San Jacinto College North and received my Associate’s Degree in 1991. I continued my education and graduated from the University of Houston in 1996 with a degree in Education. GO COOGS!!

I have wanted to be a teacher since I was 5 years old. Each day is exciting, and children are a constant source of amazement. They are fun to work with, and watching them learn and grow is extremely rewarding. Every day is a new adventure!
