Houston Math, Science and Technology Center was founded in 1878 in the Downtown Houston area. Over the next 140 plus years, our school has changed names, moved locations, hosted famous faculty, and offered numerous programs. However, throughout all the changes, our goal to provide quality instruction to all students has always remained the focus. Now, Houston MSTC is going through a new change….

Houston MSTC is a candidate school* for the MYP. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World school. IB World Schools share a common philosophy-a commitment to high-quality, challenging international education-that we believe is important for our students.
