Calling all students 16 years or older. From September 3 through September 27, the #StepUpToServe social media campaign wants you and other civic-minded professionals to not only participate, but help in the November 5, 2019 Joint General and Special Elections. Our goal is to recruit 800 new Election Day poll workers. This opportunity promises to be a paid position that encourages civic engagement and will give you a unique look into the election process. Students have the opportunity to work as an Electronics Support Specialist (responsible for the set-up and maintenance of the elections equipment), interpreters when needed, and  assist workers with Election day tasks.
