    Hi There!
     
       My name is Mercedes Nadal and I have been a Physical Education Teacher for 28 years. I have taught every level, from Kindergarten all the way to 12th grade and enjoy teaching all of them. Jane Long has been my home for the last 15 years and it's faculty is my family. I am originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico but have been living in Houston for 32 years now so you can say I am a Texa-Rican. I am fully bilingual in Spanish and English, something that has become very helpful at Long because it has made my life so much easier when trying to communicate with my students. I am looking forward to a new school year and meeting a new group of students and I am also looking forward to meeting you!
