I have been teaching violin at Parker for 6 years and love passing on my passion for violin and music to children. I began playing violin in 4th grade at Twillman Elementary in St. Louis, MO and continued studying music through high school and college. After teaching elementary strings in North Carolina for two years, I pursued a Master's Degree in Suzuki Pedagogy from Southern Illinois University- Edwardsville where I received long term training in the Suzuki Method. I am blessed to be part of the Parker community where music education is a priority. I love spending time with friends and family, relaxing with a good book or movie, spending time outside, being adventurous, riding my bike, going to the beach, and traveling. Last summer, I traveled to 13 countries across Europe with Slovenia and Croatia in my top favorites. Another highlight was traveling with the Parker Performing Strings to Minneapolis, MN to perform for the Suzuki Association of the Americas National Conference. I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and am the oldest of 5 children. Some day I hope to learn Spanish, see more of the world, take piano lessons, and have a family of my own.
