  • Student Belongings Pick up Procedures

     

    If you are coming to pick the items in a CAR:

    Date: Tuesday, May 26 Time: 9-11 or 1-3 The student car rider pick up procedures will be utilized.

    Drivers should form 1 line on the right side of the driveway.

    Display your car rider sign in the window. (If you do not have a car rider sign, make one. It should have the LAST NAME of students and ALL grade levels. Example, Garcia – 5th-2nd-PK. If it is a single car rider, put the LAST NAME, FIRST INITIAL, and grade level. Example: Garcia, J. – 4th)

    As you pull up to the cones, the names will be called.

    Open your trunk and the items will be placed in your trunk.

    All occupants MUST REMAIN in the car at all times. Proceed out the back gate.


    If you will WALK to pick up items:

    Date: Wednesday, May 27 Time: 9-11 or 1-3

    There will be tables set up in the back driveway with lines on the ground indicating distances of 6 ft.

    One at a time, approach the table and provide your students’ name. (Only one member of the family may approach the table.)

    The items will be handed to you.


    Make up Days

    Dates: Thursday, May 28 & 29 Time: 9-11 or 1-3

    Go to the Cafeteria door (the one closest to the gym).

    There will be tape or lines on the ground indicating distances of 6 ft.

    Using your car rider or walker pick up card, show the students’ name at the window. (If you don’t have a sign, make one.)

    The items will be handed to you.

     

    Note: If you have school instruments, library books, textbooks, or reading books, they may be dropped off at this time.

     

    In order to follow CDC and school district guidelines, only Carrillo Faculty and Staff are allowed to enter the building.

    Procedimientos para recoger las pertenencias de los estudiantes

     

    Si viene a recoger los artículos en un AUTOMÓVIL:

    Fecha: martes 26 de mayo Hora: 9-11 o 1-3

    Se utilizarán los procedimientos normales de automóviles que recogen estudiantes.

    Los conductores deben formar 1 sola línea en el lado derecho de la entrada.

    Muestre el letrero del conductor del automóvil en la ventana. (Si no tiene un letrero de conductor de automóvil, haga uno. Debe tener el APELLIDO de los estudiantes y TODOS los niveles de grado. Ejemplo, García - 5to-2do-PK. Si se trata de un solo conductor de automóvil, ponga el APELLIDO, PRIMERA LETRA INICIAL, y nivel de grado Ejemplo: García, J. - 4to)

    A medida que se acerque a los conos, se llamarán los nombres.

    Abra la cajuela de su automóvil y los artículos se colocarán en su cajuela.

    Todos los ocupantes DEBEN PERMANECER en el automóvil en todo momento. Salga por la puerta trasera.

    Habrá mesas instaladas en la entrada de atrás con líneas en el suelo que indican distancias de 6 pies.

    Una persona a la vez, acérquese a la mesa y proporcione el nombre de sus alumnos. (Solo un miembro de la familia puede acercarse a la mesa).

    Los artículos le serán entregados a usted.

     

    Días complementarios

    Fechas: jueves 28 y 29 de mayo Hora: 9-11 o 1-3

    Vaya a la puerta de la cafetería (la más cercana al gimnasio).

    Habrá cinta o líneas en el suelo que indican distancias de 6 pies.

    Utilizando la tarjeta del conductor de automóvil o de estudiante que se va caminando , muestre el nombre del alumno/a en la ventana. (Si no tiene una tarjeta, haga una).

    Los artículos le serán entregados a usted.

     

    Nota: Si tiene instrumentos escolares, libros de la biblioteca, libros de texto o libros de lectura, los puede dejar en este momento.

    Para seguir los lineamientos de los CDC y del distrito escolar, solo los maestros y el personal de Carrillo pueden ingresar al edificio.

    Mary P Hallinan, Principal Welcome! I am very pleased to be principal at Carrillo Elementary School, located in the historic East End of Houston! I grew up in the beautiful area of Upstate New York and after graduation from Elmira College with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Elementary Education, I relocated to Houston, Texas to begin my career in education.

    My first teaching position was at Cage Elementary in the historic East End of Houston. During my time at Cage, I taught 4th Grade ESL and 1st-5th grade Language Arts. During this time, I obtained a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and Mid-Management Certification from the University of Houston. In January of 1993. I coordinated the opening of Carrillo Elementary, built as a relief school to relieve overcrowding at nearby elementary schools. At Carrillo, I have been the Technologist, Lead Teacher, Assistant Principal, and since 2000, Principal. Read more...
