Before volunteering in the school everyone must be registered with the HISD VIPS (Volunteers in Public Schools) Program, which runs an annual background check.
If you wish to volunteer at Roberts Elementary, you must register online HERE. You will receive an email once you have been approved. This process can take upto 2-3 weeks for the background check.
Must use Google Chrome.
When you come to Roberts Elementary, you must have a valid form of ID.
Valid forms of identification include:
- Texas Driver’s License
- Official Passport
- Texas Identification Card
- Official U. S. Military ID
- Driver’s License (issued by any state in the U.S.)
- Matricula Consular
- Identification Card (issued by any state in the U.S.)
- Resident Alien Card
The background check can take 2-3 weeks to complete
