I am so excited to be the counselor at Roberts Elementary! I graduated from Southern Methodist University with my undergraduate degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology and then continued my learning at SMU and received my Master’s Degree in School Counseling. I stayed in Dallas after getting my Master’s and taught as a first grade teacher for three years and then became a school counselor for three years. In 2019, my husband and I moved back to Houston, where I am from, and I taught as a 3rd grade teacher at Briargrove Elementary. When I am not working, I like to spend time with my husband and our dog- Chloe, as well as cooking and exploring new restaurants in Houston. I know this is going to be an amazing year and I can’t wait to work with the Roberts Elementary family!
