I’m Ms. Maldonado, Raul C. Martinez Elementary alumna. I returned to serve as School Counselor. I received my bachelor’s degree in English and Modern Languages from Stephen F. Austin State University and earned my Master of Education in School Counseling from the University of St. Thomas. I taught middle and high school English for 6 years before transitioning into my role as an elementary school counselor.  

      As a school counselor, it is my goal to create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone in the community. My primary responsibility is to be an advocate for all students and work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and administrators to promote their academic, social and emotional development. I look forward to working with students and their families to help them reach their goals and become lifelong learners!
