Please note: Our elective offerings are refreshed annually to stay current with student interests, teachers, and resource availability. Consequently, the availability of specific electives may vary from year to year, and enrollment in a particular class cannot be guaranteed.
About the Course
In the "Principles of Information Technology" course, students will:
- Develop computer literacy skills to adapt to emerging technologies prevalent in the global marketplace, enhancing their ability to apply these skills in real-life scenarios.
- Acquire personal and interpersonal skills essential for success in a rapidly evolving workplace environment.
- Improve reading, writing, computing, communication, and reasoning skills, and apply them within the information technology context.
- Create a variety of projects to demonstrate newly acquired technology skills.
- Gain exposure to a wide range of IT concepts, including computer software, hardware, careers in IT, and techniques for preparing and delivering presentations.
- Learn coding using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Acquire skills in 3D printing and design.
- Earn certification in Google Suite.
