    • Communication to parents 
      • Parents will be advised to send water bottles to school with students. 
      • All students will need to be sent to school with a complete change of weather appropriate clothing. 
      • All students must wear masks. 
      • Clean cloth masks daily. 
      • Disposable masks should be only used once. 
      • Students with visibly soiled masks will be provided a clean one from school. 
      • Once a student is recognized to be unwell, parents have 30 minutes to pick them up. 
      • Students who have fever may return to school after being afebrile for 48 hours without the aid of antipyretics. 
    • COVID-19 
      • Parents will be encouraged to contact physician if student becomes ill and sent home. Testing is not required by the district but will be encouraged. Students should not return to school while awaiting results. If student is negative, they may return to school if they are asymptomatic (afebrile, no vomiting, or diarrhea). 
      • Students who test positive for COVID must quarantine for a total of 14 and be asymptomatic before returning to school. 
      • In the event we have students or staff test positive for COVID-19, the district will be notified, those who may have been exposed with be contacted, and the school will close and undergo a deep cleaning. Those who have been exposed will need to quarantine for 14 days. 
      • Students who have been exposed to COVID-19 must quarantine for 14 days and be asymptomatic before returning to school. 
      • Students who have diarrhea or vomiting must stay home for 48 hours and be symptom free before returning to school 
      • Parents will be advised to speak with students about the seriousness of COVID-19, to answer truthfully about symptoms as a Yes answer to any of the questions will result in parent being called to pick student up. 
      • Parents will be advised not to send unwell students to school, this is a community effort, and we must all do our part to keep our students and staff safe and healthy. 
    • Drop off and pick up – TBD once we receive guidance from District or signage is placed so we may determine our entry points. 
      • Possibly allow students to enter entrance points closer to their grade level pod 
      • Dismissal by alphabetical order 
      • Bus riders or daycare pick up dismissed together.
