7:20 am
- Doors open for students
7:30 am
- First Bell
- Instruction Begins
- Side doors will close - students go through the front door.
7:35 am
- Side doors close, students must go throught the front door.
7:40 am
- Tardy Bell
- Students go through the front door and receive a tardy slip.
9:30 am
- Students not at school will be marked absent.
2:15 pm
- Early student pickup ends. No exceptions.
2:50 pm
- Dismissal
3:05 pm
- Students not picked up will be dismissed from the front office.

90% Attendance Rule for Course Credit

In accordance with Texas Education Code Section 25.092, a student at any grade level from kindergarten through grade 12 shall not be given credit or final grade for a class unless the student is in attendance 90 percent of the days in which the class is offered.

School Traffic Procedures

For the safety of your child, please follow the school Arrival and Dismissal Procedures. We need to dismiss over 750 students each day safely and efficiently - following these procedures is imperative for the safety of all Horn students and families.

Student Assistance Form

Have a Need? You can submit a Student Assistance Form (SAF) to inform your school about a need your child has. SAFs can be submitted for any students who may need any resources or services such as mental health, housing, supplies, food, transportation, and more
