I began at Harvard Elementary School as the school Social Worker in the fall of 2019. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker by the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners. I attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas where I graduated with both my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees of Social Work with a Clinical Concentration in Children and Families. I’ve served in public schools for about 7 years. Before moving to Houston, I was the Volunteer Director at a national nonprofit organization in Waco that served students at-risk of dropping out of school. I was excited to return to direct practice with children.
In my spare time, I enjoy water skiing, being outside, reading, and playing with my dog, Kelly. Please reach out to me with any questions or just to say “hi!”. My office is located in room 218, upstairs near the 4th and 3rd grade hallways.
Ms. Val Habib is our Masters of Social Work, Clinical Concentration Intern from Baylor University! She will be assisting me with student interventions throughout the year under my supervision. In her free time, she likes to run and watch documentaries. She can be reached at Valentina.Habib@houstonisd.org.
Ms. Jackie King is a Masters of Social Work, Clinical Concentration Intern from the University of Houston. She will also be assisting with student interventions throughout the year under my supervision. In her free time, she enjoys being with friends and family, exploring new places, and eating as much ice cream as she can! She can be reached at Jacqueline.King2@houstonisd.org.
