    Student Agreement:

    Middle College High School at Fraga is a unique and challenging environment for students. Our mission is to build a team that includes teachers, parents, and students in order to achieve academic success. Students, with support from home, will traditionally have more confidence and increased academic success. Below is a list of student expectations. 

     

    Acuerdo del Estudiante:

    La Escuela Secundaria de Middle College High School at Fraga tiene un entorno único y desafiante para los estudiantes. Nuestra misión es construir un equipo que incluye maestros, padres y alumnos a fin de lograr el éxito académico. Estudiantes, con el apoyo de su familia, tradicionalmente tendrán más confianza y mayor éxito académico. A continuación se presenta una lista de las expectativas de los estudiantes. Favor de poner sus iniciales en la línea si entiendes y aceptas a cada expectativa.

    MCHS at Fraga students are expected to :

    •  

      • Communicate with my teachers and plan for tutorials as needed.
      • Prepare and plan to take the TSI (Texas Success Initiative Assessment).  The TSI test consists of: Mathematics, Reading, and Writing & Essay.
      • Prepare and plan to enroll in Dual Credit courses as appropriate (when available)
      • Be college ready and complete their high school distinguished graduation requirements in 4 years. 
      • Attend Saturday Tutorials when needing support, make up assignments, TSI and STAAR preparation, when class grades are below 75%.
      • Attend to HCC Tutorials for college classes in room 245 at least one time per week before school, after school or Saturdays when taking college level courses.
      • Plan to attend summer school to improve his/her TSI scores, STAAR scores, be college ready and take dual credit courses when available and scheduled by MCHS at HCC Fraga
      • Complete community service hours and a community service project every year.
      • Required to attend Middle College High School at HCC Fraga and HCC classes regularly (attendance is a must). Goal is to be at 95% attendance.
      • Set aside time for homework every night to help ensure assignments are completed on time.
      • Follow the MCHS at Fraga Student Code of Conduct and the HCC Student Code of Conduct.
      • Come prepared for every class every day and turn in all assignments on time.
      • Conduct him/herself in an academically professional manner by following all rules of common courtesy and demonstrating best work ethic at all times.
      • Understand that he/she is ultimately responsible for his/her success. MCHS at Fraga will be given resources and support but he/her are responsible for using these resources and asking for help.
