Shared Decision-Making Committee -SDMC
The Shared Decision Making Committee (SDMC) of Challenge Early College HS is comprised of elected and designated members or adults who will develop school improvement guidelines with the input of others. The committee is chaired by the principal and includes other school personnel, teachers, parents, and members of the community. Teachers are elected to a two-year term of service. The main goal of the SDMC is to work together on the School Improvement Plan, which is revised yearly based on campus and student instructional needs. The purpose of the SBDMC will be to promote communication, encourage leadership, establish joint planning, provide problem-solving, and make decisions by all stakeholders on issues relating to student achievement and positive school climate.El Comité de Toma de Decisiones Compartidas (SDMC, por sus siglas en inglés) de Challenge Early College HS está compuesto por miembros electos y designados o adultos que desarrollarán pautas de mejora escolar con el aporte de otros. El comité está presidido por el director e incluye otro personal escolar, maestros, padres y miembros de la comunidad. Los maestros son elegidos para un período de servicio de dos años. El objetivo principal del SDMC es trabajar juntos en el Plan de Mejoramiento Escolar, que se revisa anualmente según las necesidades educativas del campus y de los estudiantes. El propósito del SBDMC será promover la comunicación, alentar el liderazgo, establecer una planificación conjunta, brindar resolución de problemas y tomar decisiones por parte de todas las partes interesadas sobre temas relacionados con el rendimiento estudiantil y el clima escolar positivo.SDMC MembersName
