2024-2025 LAPTOP DEPLOYMENT

Laptops for all students (grades 9-12) will be issued during the first week of school. 

REQUIRED LAPTOP FORMS, 2024-2025
A Chromebook will be LOANED to all Energy students for the 2024-2025 school year. To receive a laptop, students must return three (3) things:

1. A signed HISD Laptop Agreement Form (with a parent/guardian signature)
   • All paperwork should be printed, completed, and signed by the student and parent. Completed forms will be brought to school by the student to turn in when picking up their laptop.

2. A signed Energy Institute Laptop Agreement Form (with a parent/guardian signature)
   • All paperwork should be printed, completed, and signed by the student and parent. Completed forms will be brought to school by the student to turn in when picking up their laptop.

There is a $25 fee for the 2024-2025 school year. Students and parents may be held responsible for the cost of replacement of a lost or stolen device or accessories or for damage due to purposeful action or gross negligence.

Energy Institute HS is committed to HISD’s PowerUp initiative, and therefore, expects all students to receive a laptop from Houston ISD. Energy Institute High School students cannot opt out of the PowerUp Initiative.

Students must comply with the Student Laptop Loan Agreement and the EIHS Laptop Acceptable Use Policy.
