  • Hello and welcome to the West University Elementary Library! I am so excited that you are here. Library ancillary is a place where all students will be learning library skills, research skills, technology skills, and even engineering skills for the upper grades during Makerspace time.

West U students will visit the library once every ten days. See below for our book checkout limit per grade level.

    • Kindergarten-1 book
    • First Grade-1 book
    • Second Grade-2 books
    • Third Grade-3 books
    • Fourth Grade-3 books
    • Fifth Grade-4 books

Students will have the opportunity to earn an extra library checkout day for having good citizenship. Students will also be able to earn extra book checkout vouchers if they are caught reading at school.Teachers, Admin, and I will be passing out coupons to students who have earned them.

I can't wait to see all of you in the library!
