    TSIA

The TSI Assessment (TSIA) is part of the Texas Success Initiative enacted by the Texas State Legislature and designed to determine a student’s readiness for college-level coursework in the general areas of reading, writing, and mathematics.

The TSIA, or one of its exemptions, has been required of Texas students entering a Texas college or university for nearly ten years. The TSIA is administered through the College Board’s Accuplacer digital platform. Universities, community colleges, school districts and high school campuses can request to administer the TSIA to students.

    MLK PARADE:

Would you like to participate in the Martin Luther King Parade?  If so, join cheer after school this Tuesday and Thursday between 3:35pm-4:55pm for instructions and/or practice.  Transportation will be provided.  The bus will depart from Jones Futures Academy at 7:00AM on Monday, January 16th, 2023.  The parade will begin at 10:00AM. This is a great opportunity for community service hours. For additional information meet with Ms. Carpe.

    Blood Drive:

Greetings JFA! The second blood drive is scheduled for this Friday, January 13th.  Every donor who is successful will recieve a hoodie.  Remember you must be at least 16 years of age to donate with consent from on file.  If you cannot donate, then encourage a family member to donate in your honor.  You can sign up with Ms. Carpe in room 111 or use the QR code posted on the flyers on campus.
